Intense smoky bacon notes, this is very much a Syrah-based Châteauneuf. Acidity is quite penetrating, piercing even. Tannins are all well buffed, however. Highly atypical in its smoky, spicy profile and tight, focused palate, alcohol however is low and there's no greenness here. Will age well.
